Products

SAW Instruments offer a range of label-free biosensor platforms based on our proprietary Surface Acoustic Wave technology.

These products address a variety of different application requirements and throughput demands of our customers. Some of these applications are fairly standard e.g. concentration, kinetics, whilst others are unique to SAW technology e.g. conformational changes, binding of antibodies to membrane receptors on whole cells.

sam^®5 is now differentiated into a family of products – sam^®5 BLUE and sam^®5 GREEN.

sam^®5 BLUE is already well established in universities and teaching laboratories where it is the ideal tool for methods development. It provides maximum versatility and flexibility for a diverse group of users with different needs and who want a system which is simple to use.

sam^®5 GREEN is new and builds upon the proven sam^®5 platform. It has been specifically developed with industrial customers in mind who are typically focused on a smaller, defined set of applications and workflows. They require high reproducibility and consistency which is afforded by batch-controlled, pre-functionalized chips and an on-line audit trail of their chip.
